Ambara Chowk:About 40-kms from Muzaffarpur, Ambara Chowk is situated in Saraiya Block on the Muzaffarpur - Rewa road. It is believed to be the home village of Amrapali, the famous Nagarvadhu (courtesan) of Vaishali.
Katra Garh: is situated nearly 35-kms northeast of Muzaffarpur. Katra Garh was one of the states of the Mughal Empire during the reign of Akbar. It was then named as Akbarpur. Several idols, ornaments, earthen pots and other articles of historical importance have been found here in course of excavations.
Khudi Ram Bose Memorial:A memorial tablet has been raised in the memory of Khudi Ram Bose who was executed at Muzaffarpur Jail in the year 1908 on the charge of throwing a bomb on Kingsford, the then British District & Sessions Judge of Muzaffarpur. The memorial tablet is situated opposite the present residence of the District and Sessions Judge.
Rajkhand:It is situated about 5-kms from headquarters of the Aurai block on Aurai-Saidpur road. There is an old temple of Bhairav Nath. A big cattle fair is held here every year on the occasion of Shivaratri festival.
